The Scientific Committee invites authors to submit abstracts for consideration and inclusion in the programme. All abstracts must be written in English and in the required format. Please find below the instructions for abstracts layout and abstract submission.
- Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations.
- Abstracts should focus on one of the Congress Topics (Biotechnology and the Future in Orthodontics, Contemporary Diagnostics and Treatment Approaches, Class III malocclusion, Free Topics).
- Abstracts containing no more than 2000 characters (about 300 words), including spaces, must be written in English. The abstract text should be structured into the following format: Background, Aims, Materials (or Subjects) and Methods, Results, Conclusions (a statement such as “the results will be discussed” is not acceptable).
- Figures, tables and other illustrations may not be included in abstracts.
- Abstracts can be submitted only via the congress web site: www.eos2010.si/abstract where detailed submission guidelines can be found.
Each participant may submit up to two abstracts as a presenting author. After a successfully completed submission, an acknowledgement of receipt of the abstract together with an access key for editing the abstract up to the submission deadline will be sent to the author’s electronic address. All contributions will be reviewed before inclusion in the programme. The organisers will publish only the abstracts submitted by authors, who pay their registration fee by June 1, 2010.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is December 1, 2009.
Abstracts received after this date cannot be considered for evaluation.
Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be sent electronically to the corresponding author by March 16, 2010.
