The Congresses of the European Orthodontic Society, which are the largest annual gatherings of orthodontists in Europe, have always been the highlight of the orthodontic profession. The organizing committees of each host country take it upon themselves to attract and interest as many participants as possible with their scientific, social and technical programmes.
The professional and scientific events have always been attended by a large number of participants, mostly orthodontic specialists and postgraduate students, since the meetings are orientated towards development and introduction of new technologies, materials and treatment approaches.
The 86th European Orthodontic Society Congress will be held in Portorož, Slovenia, at the St. Bernardin Adriatic Resort and Convention Centre, from the 15th to the 19th June 2010. Portorož. The geographical position and good transport connections make Slovenia an excellent bridge between East and West.
We hope not only to present new achievements and findings of our professional and scientific activities, but also to show you Portorož, the Port of Roses, which is situated on the coast and where some of the most beautiful and interesting parts of Slovenia are located. The St. Bernardin Convention Centre is in a wonderful location, overlooking the bay of Portorož, with a number of various facilities at your disposal.
We kindly ask you to support this important scientific and professional event and to contribute to its successful organisation as a donor, sponsor, advertiser or exhibitor. Some options for your possible collaboration are already listed in this letter of invitation. However, we are ready to discuss any other ideas or suggestions.
